Koneurgench

Koneurgench, also spelled Konye-Urgench or Kunya-Urgench, is a historic city and archaeological site in the Khorezm Region of northwestern Uzbekistan. It lies near the Amu Darya river, opposite Turkmenistan, with the modern city of Urgench serving as its administrative center.
