Kolmeks
Kolmeks is the translative form of the Estonian numeral kolm (three). It is used to express transformation into the state of three or division into three parts. As part of the translative case, kolmeks marks the outcome of a change or the resulting state, rather than a simple count. The form is formed by attaching the translative suffix -eks to the numeral stem, and it appears in grammatical constructions that describe becoming or turning into a threefold state.
