KoblenzMontabaur
KoblenzMontabaur refers to a former administrative district in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It was formed in 1969 through the merger of the previous districts of Koblenz and Montabaur. The district was situated in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate, encompassing a varied landscape that included the Westerwald hills and areas along the Rhine River. Its administrative seat was the city of Koblenz, which itself was not part of the district but served as its center. The district was known for its mix of rural and urban areas, with agriculture playing a significant role in the economy, alongside some industrial activities.
In 1974, as part of a broader administrative reform in Rhineland-Palatinate, the KoblenzMontabaur district was dissolved.
