Klomifeenillä
Klomifeenillä is the Finnish name for clomiphene citrate. It is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used primarily to stimulate ovulation in women who have difficulty conceiving due to irregular or absent ovulation. It works by blocking estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, which in turn increases the production of gonadotropins, such as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). These hormones then stimulate the development of ovarian follicles.
