Kirjakelellä

Kirjakelellä is a constructed language created by Finnish linguist and writer Marja Mielonen. Its primary goal is to be a simple, logical, and easy-to-learn auxiliary language, intended for international communication. The vocabulary and grammar of Kirjakelellä are heavily influenced by Finnish, but with a simplified structure and a vocabulary designed to be broadly accessible. Mielonen began developing the language in the early 2000s and has since published materials to explain its principles and usage.

The phonology of Kirjakelellä is designed to be straightforward, utilizing sounds common to many languages, particularly Finnish. Word formation often employs agglutination, a characteristic feature of Finnish, where suffixes are added to root words to express grammatical functions.
