Kipufogógáztisztítás, often translated as exhaust gas purification or exhaust gas treatment, refers to the technological processes and systems designed to remove harmful pollutants from the exhaust gases produced by internal combustion engines. These pollutants include nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO), and unburnt hydrocarbons (HC). The primary goal is to reduce air pollution and protect public health and the environment.
