Kindlings
Kindlings refer to small, dry materials that are easily ignited and used to start a fire. They serve as the crucial intermediate step between a spark or flame and larger pieces of fuel. Without effective kindling, it can be difficult to get a fire going, especially in damp conditions.
The ideal kindling is highly flammable and burns quickly, providing enough heat to ignite the next stage
When building a fire, kindling is typically placed above or around the tinder, which is the initial
