Kielisistä

Kielisistä is a Finnish grammatical form of the adjective kielinen, meaning “linguistic” or “language-related.” The base adjective kielinen is formed from the noun kieli (language) with the common adjectival suffix -inen. In Finnish, adjectives agree with the nouns they modify in number and case, and kielinen follows this pattern. When the adjective modifies a plural noun in the elative case, the form becomes kielisistä, which corresponds to “from/among linguistic …” with the noun in elative plural.

Usage of kielisistä occurs in phrases describing topics, sources, or origins related to language. The elative plural suffix -isistä attaches to the -inen adjective to produce the form used with plural nouns in the elative.
