Kaukolämpöverkostot
Kaukolämpöverkostot are extensive pipe systems designed to deliver heat from a central source to buildings in a district. This heat is typically generated from sources such as combined heat and power (CHP) plants, industrial waste heat, or biomass boilers. The network consists of insulated supply and return pipes that carry hot water or steam. The hot water circulates from the heat source, travels through the supply pipes to individual buildings, and then returns to the source via the return pipes to be reheated.
The primary advantage of kaukolämpöverkostot is their efficiency and environmental benefits. By concentrating heat production at
Kaukolämpöverkostot contribute to urban planning by simplifying heating infrastructure for new developments and densifying urban areas.
