Kaukojäähdytys
Kaukojäähdytys, also known as district cooling, is a system for providing chilled water from a central plant to multiple buildings for air conditioning and other cooling needs. Similar in concept to district heating, it involves a network of insulated underground pipes that transport chilled water to buildings where it is used to cool the air. The warmed water is then returned to the central plant to be re-chilled.
The primary benefit of kaukojäähdytys is its energy efficiency. Centralized cooling plants can often be optimized
Kaukojäähdytys systems can also contribute to improved urban air quality and reduced noise pollution. By consolidating
The implementation of kaukojäähdytys requires significant initial investment in the central plant and the extensive piping
