Katalizörü
Katalizörü is a term that refers to a catalyst in Turkish. A catalyst is a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change. In essence, it speeds up a reaction by providing an alternative reaction pathway with a lower activation energy. Catalysts are not consumed in the process and can therefore be used in small amounts and remain active for extended periods.
There are two main types of catalysts: homogeneous and heterogeneous. Homogeneous catalysts are in the same
Catalysts are fundamental to many industrial processes, including the production of ammonia, sulfuric acid, and plastics.
