Kasvaa

Kasvaa is a Finnish verb meaning to grow or to increase in size, amount, or degree. It is used for biological growth (plants and animals) as well as for non-biological increases such as population, economy, or memory. In everyday language it describes processes that become larger over time and can be used literally and figuratively.

In present tense, kasvaa inflects for person and number. Common examples include väestö kasvaa (the population grows) and puut kasvavat (the trees grow).
