Kalypso
Kalypso is a figure from Greek mythology, best known as the nymph who detained Odysseus on the island of Ogygia for several years in Homer's epic the Odyssey. According to the poem, she was a daughter of the Titan Atlas and possessed long, golden hair. Odysseus refused to leave until the goddess Athena intervened, ordering Kalypso to release him, after which she consented and gave him a cloak.
