Kalevipoegs

Kalevipoeg is the national epic of Estonia, compiled by Friedrich Reinhold Kreutzwald and first published in its entirety in 1862. The epic poem is based on Estonian folklore, particularly legends of a giant hero named Kalevipoeg. It tells the story of his life, his struggles, his heroic deeds, and his eventual tragic death.
