Kakanjs
Kakanj is a town and municipality located in the Zenica-Doboj Canton of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It lies in the central part of the country, approximately 45 kilometers northeast of Sarajevo. The town is situated in the Kakanj Valley, surrounded by hills and mountains, with the Bosna River flowing nearby. Historically, the area has been inhabited for centuries, with evidence of Roman settlements found in the vicinity. During the Ottoman period, Kakanj developed as a trade and administrative center.
