The Kaczynski family is a notable Polish political dynasty. The most prominent members are twins Lech and Jarosław Kaczyński. Lech Kaczyński served as President of Poland from 2005 until his death in a plane crash in 2010. He previously held the position of Mayor of Warsaw and was a member of the Sejm, the Polish parliament.
