Kütusetankimine

Kütusetankimine refers to the process of refueling a vehicle with fuel. This typically involves inserting a fuel nozzle into the vehicle's fuel tank and dispensing liquid fuel, such as gasoline or diesel. The process is a fundamental part of operating internal combustion engine vehicles.

Vehicles have a fuel tank, usually located under the rear of the car or within the chassis, which stores the fuel. When the fuel level gets low, indicated by a fuel gauge on the dashboard, the driver takes the vehicle to a fuel station, also known as a gas station or petrol station. At the station, the driver selects the appropriate type of fuel based on the vehicle's requirements and the available options at the pump.

The nozzle from the fuel dispenser is then placed into the vehicle's fuel filler neck. Once payment is arranged, either through a pre-paid card, credit card, or cash, the fuel begins to flow into the tank. The pump automatically shuts off when the tank is full or when a pre-set amount of fuel has been dispensed.

Safety measures are in place during kütusetankimine. Drivers are often advised to turn off their engine before refueling, avoid smoking, and ensure proper contact between the nozzle and the filler neck to prevent static electricity discharge. Proper handling and storage of fuel are crucial to prevent environmental contamination and fire hazards.
