Kõrgepääsufilter is an Estonian term that translates to "high-pass filter" in English. In electronics and signal processing, a high-pass filter is a type of electronic filter that passes signals having a frequency higher than a certain cutoff frequency and attenuates (reduces the amplitude of) signals having frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency.

The primary function of a high-pass filter is to block low-frequency components while allowing high-frequency components to pass through.
