Käymisliuokset, often translated as fermentation broths or media, are aqueous solutions specifically designed to support and facilitate the growth of microorganisms for fermentation processes. These solutions typically contain a carefully balanced mixture of essential nutrients that the microorganisms require for their metabolic activities, including energy production and the synthesis of desired products.
