Jogalanyként

Jogalanyként is a Hungarian legal term that translates to "as a legal subject" or "as a legal entity." It refers to a party that has the capacity to possess rights and assume obligations within a legal system. This means that a jogalanyként can participate in legal transactions, enter into contracts, own property, sue and be sued, and be held accountable for their actions or omissions.

In Hungarian law, legal subjectivity is typically granted to natural persons (individuals) and legal persons (entities like corporations, associations, or foundations). Natural persons acquire legal subjectivity at birth and retain it until death. Legal persons, on the other hand, gain legal subjectivity upon their registration with the relevant authorities, a process that varies depending on the type of entity.

The concept of being a jogalanyként is fundamental to the functioning of any legal order. It establishes who can be a participant in legal relationships and who can be subject to legal rules and consequences. Without this status, an individual or an organization would be unable to engage with the legal system in a meaningful way. It is the basis for rights, duties, and responsibilities within a society governed by law.
