Jazztanssi
Jazztanssi, often referred to as jazz dance, is a broad category of dance styles with roots in African American vernacular dance. It emerged in the early 20th century and evolved alongside jazz music. Key characteristics of jazz dance include improvisation, syncopation, isolations, and a strong sense of rhythm. It often features percussive movements, sharp accents, and a grounded, low center of gravity.
