Jayachamarajendra
Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Bahadur (1919–1974) was the last ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Mysore and later served as Rajpramukh of Mysore State. He reigned as Maharaja from 1940 to 1950, and after the integration of Mysore into the Republic of India, he held the ceremonial post of Rajpramukh from 1950 to 1956. He belonged to the Wadiyar dynasty, which had governed Mysore for centuries.
