Jähmettymisvaiheet refer to the stages a liquid undergoes as it transitions into a solid state through a process called solidification or freezing. This transformation is a fundamental phase change in materials science and chemistry.

During this phase, latent heat of fusion is released.

The final stage is complete solidification, where the entire volume of the liquid has transformed into a solid. The resulting solid can be crystalline, with a highly ordered atomic or molecular arrangement, or amorphous, lacking long-range order.
