Isolationsniveaus refer to the levels or degrees of isolation in an engineering context, particularly in the field of industrial hydraulics and pneumatic systems. These systems are designed to transmit energy or power from one location to another through a medium, such as compressed air or hydraulic fluid. However, due to various reasons, a certain degree of isolation is often required to prevent the flow of energy or fluid between connected components.

In the context of isolationsniveaus, the term describes the different levels or stages of isolation that can be achieved in a system. These levels are typically classified into four main categories:

Partielle Isolierung (Partial Isolation): This level of isolation allows some flow of energy or fluid between connected components, but restricts the amount of flow to prevent excessive energy transmission.

Gesamtschaltisolation (Total Circuit Isolation): At this level, all connections between components are completely isolated, preventing any flow of energy or fluid.

Nullenpending Isolierung (Null-Point Isolation): This is a variation of total circuit isolation, where a specific component or section of the system is electrically isolated from other components.

Teilnete Null-aste Isolierung (Partially-Neutralized Null-Point Isolation): This level combines elements of null-point isolation with partial confinement of energy flow.
