Ionenlading

Ionenlading refers to the net electrical charge carried by an ion. Ions are atoms or molecules that have gained or lost one or more electrons, resulting in a positive or negative charge. A positive charge, indicating a cation, arises when an atom or molecule loses electrons. Conversely, a negative charge, indicating an anion, results from the gain of electrons.
