Intenzionalitással, often translated as intentionality, is a key concept in philosophy, particularly within phenomenology and philosophy of mind. It refers to the property of mental states, such as beliefs, desires, and perceptions, of being directed towards or being about something. In simpler terms, it is the "aboutness" of consciousness. When we think, we think about something. When we desire, we desire something. This directedness is what characterizes intentionality.
