Influías

Influías is the second-person singular imperfect indicative form of the Spanish verb influir, meaning to influence. It is used to describe a past action that was ongoing or habitual when the subject was “tú.” In English, it is commonly rendered as “you used to influence” or “you were influencing.” The imperfect form contrasts with the present tense influyes (you influence) and with other tenses such as influíste (you influenced) in referring to different time frames.

The verb influir derives from Latin influere, literally “to flow in,” and entered Spanish with a meaning related to exerting influence or effect.
