Implantasi
Implantasi is a term used in biology and medicine to describe the process by which a biological entity attaches to or becomes embedded within another. In the context of reproduction, it specifically refers to the attachment of a fertilized egg, known as a blastocyst, to the uterine wall. This event is a crucial step in mammalian pregnancy, typically occurring about six to twelve days after fertilization. The blastocyst secretes enzymes that help it burrow into the endometrium, the lining of the uterus, establishing a connection for nutrient exchange and further development. Successful implantation is essential for a pregnancy to continue.
