Imotski
Imotski is a town located in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia. It is situated inland from the Adriatic coast, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The town is known for its unique geographical features, most notably the Blue Lake (Modro jezero) and the Red Lake (Crveno jezero). These are karst lakes formed in sinkholes, with the Blue Lake known for its vibrant blue color and the Red Lake for its steep, red-colored cliffs.
Historically, Imotski was an important settlement during the Ottoman era, with remnants of fortifications still visible.
