Idmértékegység

Idmértékegység is a Hungarian term that translates to "intensity unit" in English. It is a unit of measurement used to express the intensity of a physical quantity, particularly in the fields of mechanics, thermodynamics, and electrodynamics. The idmértékegység system was developed by Hungarian physicist József Pálffy in the late 19th century.

The idmértékegység system defines a set of basic units from which all other units can be derived. It includes units such as idmértékegység (idme) for intensity, idmomentum (idmom) for momentum, and idenergia (idend) for energy. These units are related to each other by simple mathematical relationships, such as idmomentum = idmass × idvelocity and idenergia = idmomentum × idvelocity.

The idmértékegység system aims to provide a more intuitive and consistent way of expressing physical quantities. It avoids the use of fractional exponents and derived units, making calculations simpler and more transparent. However, the system has not gained widespread acceptance outside of Hungary and is not widely used in international scientific communities.
