IPpaketteja
IPpaketteja, often referred to as IP packets, are the fundamental units of data transmission in the Internet Protocol (IP) suite. They are discrete blocks of information that are routed across networks to reach their destination. Each IP packet contains a header and a payload. The IP header includes crucial information such as the source and destination IP addresses, the packet's length, and various flags that control its transmission and reassembly. The payload carries the actual data being sent, which could be anything from a small piece of text in an email to a large segment of a video stream.
When data is sent over an IP network, it is broken down into smaller, manageable IP packets.
