Hyunah

Hyunah, also romanized as HyunA (Korean: 현아; born June 6, 1992), is a South Korean singer, dancer, and performer. She began her career as a member of Wonder Girls (2007–2009) before joining 4Minute (2009–2016) under Cube Entertainment. With 4Minute, she achieved major popularity with songs such as Hot Issue (2009) and Muzik (2010), and later releases included Crazy and Volume Up. Hyunah has also pursued a solo career, releasing the single Bubble Pop! in 2011, a track that drew international attention and sparked discussion over broadcast standards due to its provocative style.

In 2011 she formed the duo Trouble Maker with Hyunseung of Beast, releasing the hit single "Trouble Maker." Following 4Minute’s disbandment in 2016, Hyunah continued as a solo artist and participated in collaborations and soundtracks. In 2018 she signed with P Nation, the agency founded by Psy, and has since continued releasing music and working with other artists.

Hyunah is regarded as a prominent figure in K-pop, known for her distinctive stage presence, fashion influence, and contributions to the genre’s blend of pop and hip-hop. Her career has involved cross-media appeal, including television appearances and public performances, and she has earned multiple awards as both a group member and a solo artist. Hyunah remains an active figure in South Korea’s music scene.
