Hypovolämiezeichen

Hypovolämiezeichen refers to the clinical signs and symptoms that indicate a state of abnormally low blood volume in the body, a condition known as hypovolemia. These signs are the body's compensatory mechanisms attempting to maintain adequate circulation and oxygen delivery to vital organs despite the reduced blood volume.

Common hypovolämiezeichen include a rapid heart rate (tachycardia) as the heart beats faster to try and circulate the remaining blood more effectively. Blood pressure may initially be normal but will typically fall as the hypovolemia worsens, leading to hypotension. The skin can appear pale, cool, and clammy due to reduced peripheral blood flow. Patients may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, or even syncope (fainting) because of decreased blood flow to the brain. Other signs can include thirst, decreased urine output (oliguria) as the kidneys conserve fluid, and altered mental status such as confusion or lethargy. In severe cases, organ dysfunction can occur. Recognizing these signs is crucial for prompt diagnosis and management of hypovolemia, which often requires fluid resuscitation to restore circulating volume.
