Houthulst

Houthulst is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. It is situated in the arrondissement of Dixmude. The municipality comprises the sub-municipalities of Houthulst, Klerken, and Merkem. Houthulst lies in the northern part of West Flanders, close to the border with the province of East Flanders.
