Hlothhere
Hlothhere was a king of Kent who reigned in the late 7th century. He was the son of King Eormenred and grandson of King Eadbald of Kent. Hlothhere's early life is not well-documented, but he became king around 673 CE, succeeding his uncle Ecgberht I.

A significant event during Hlothhere's kingship was a war against Sussex. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle states that
Hlothhere died in 685 CE. His successor was his nephew, Suæfhere, who had previously co-ruled with him.
