These parameters are crucial for understanding and optimizing the performance of HILA systems, which are used in various applications such as material processing, medical treatments, and scientific research.

The primary HILA parameters include pulse duration, pulse energy, repetition rate, and beam quality. Pulse duration refers to the length of time the laser pulse is active, typically measured in nanoseconds or picoseconds. Pulse energy is the amount of energy delivered by each pulse, usually expressed in joules. Repetition rate is the number of pulses emitted per second, measured in hertz. Beam quality, often characterized by the M-squared factor, describes the spatial distribution of the laser beam.
