Hajureseptorisolut, also known as olfactory receptor neurons, are specialized nerve cells that play a crucial role in the sense of smell. These cells are located in the olfactory epithelium, a tissue lining the nasal cavity. Each hajureseptorisolu possesses dendrites that extend to the surface of the epithelium, where they are covered with olfactory cilia. These cilia are the sites where odorant molecules bind to specific olfactory receptors.
