HTTPühendus

HTTPühendus refers to a network connection established using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). This protocol is the foundation of data communication on the World Wide Web. When a web browser requests a resource, such as a webpage or an image, from a web server, it initiates an HTTPühendus.

The process begins with the client (typically a browser) sending an HTTP request to the server. This request contains information like the desired resource's URL, the HTTP method (e.g., GET, POST), and headers providing details about the client and the request. The server then processes this request and, if successful, sends back an HTTP response.

The HTTP response includes a status code indicating the outcome of the request (e.g., 200 OK for success, 404 Not Found for an error), along with headers and the requested resource itself in the body. This exchange of requests and responses over the HTTPühendus allows for the retrieval and display of web content. While HTTPühendus traditionally operates without encryption, the secure version, HTTPSühendus (HTTP Secure), uses TLS/SSL to encrypt the data transmitted, ensuring privacy and integrity.
