HPLCEPR

HPLCEPR refers to High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Electrophoresis. It is a hyphenated analytical technique that combines the separation power of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with the resolving capabilities of Capillary Electrophoresis (CE). This powerful combination allows for the analysis of complex mixtures by utilizing two fundamentally different separation mechanisms.

In HPLCEPR, the sample is first separated by HPLC, which typically separates compounds based on their differential partitioning between a stationary phase and a mobile phase. After the HPLC separation, the effluent from the HPLC column is directly introduced into a CE system. CE separates analytes based on their charge-to-size ratio and their interaction with the electric field.
