HNR1R2

HNR1R2, also known as HNRA2 or Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L-like 2, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HNRNL2 gene. This gene is located on chromosome 17. HNRNL2 is a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, which are RNA-binding proteins involved in various aspects of RNA processing, including pre-mRNA splicing, mRNA export, and mRNA stability.

The HNRNL2 protein is thought to play a role in gene regulation through its interaction with RNA molecules. While the precise functions of HNRNL2 are still under investigation, studies suggest it may be involved in the maturation and transport of messenger RNA (mRNA) from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.
