HEI10
HEI10 is a gene that encodes a protein involved in regulating cell division and chromosome segregation. This protein belongs to the IκB kinase family and plays a critical role in the DNA damage response pathway. When DNA is damaged, HEI10 is activated, which in turn initiates a cascade of events to repair the damage or trigger cell death if the damage is too severe.
The HEI10 protein is essential for maintaining genomic stability. Mutations or dysregulation of HEI10 have been
