H2RG
The H2RG, also known as the Wide Field Infrared Camera 3 (WFC3) detector, is a scientific instrument used on the Hubble Space Telescope. It is a large format Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) that operates in the visible and near-infrared portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The H2RG was developed by Teledyne Scientific and Imaging and was installed on Hubble during Servicing Mission 4 in May 2009.
