H2H2O

H2H2O is not a recognized chemical formula or compound in standard chemistry. It is simply the concatenation of the formulas H2 and H2O and does not denote a discrete molecular species with a defined structure.

In most scholarly contexts the term does not appear, and when seen in non-scientific text it is usually a typographical artifact or a shorthand used informally to refer to a mixture of hydrogen gas (H2) and water (H2O). A common source of confusion is mistaking H2H2O for hydrogen peroxide, whose formula is H2O2.

In physical chemistry, researchers study interactions between H2 and H2O, which can form weak van der Waals complexes such as H2O···H2. These adducts are characterized by very small binding energies and are not considered stable compounds under ordinary conditions.

In discussions of hydrogen storage and chemical reactions in aqueous media, H2 gas and water are key reagents, but again do not form a single crystalline or molecular species denoted H2H2O.
