Guzzi

Guzzi, commonly known as Moto Guzzi, is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer. Founded in 1921 by Carlo Guzzi and Giorgio Parodi in Genoa, the company established its main factory at Mandello del Lario on Lake Como, where it remained for much of its history.

The company is recognized for its transverse V-twin engines and shaft-drive layouts, a design approach that characterized many models from the mid-20th century onward.

Product line includes the Le Mans sport bikes, California cruisers, and the modern V7 and V9 series, as well as adventure-focused V85 TT.

In 2004, Moto Guzzi was acquired by the Piaggio Group, and production continues at Mandello del Lario. The brand maintains a museum there chronicling its history.
