Gurk
Gurk is a village and a municipality in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in the Austrian state of Carinthia. Located in the Gurktal Alps, it is situated on the Gurk River. The village is known for its historical significance, particularly its Romanesque cathedral, the Dom zu Gurk, which is one of the most important Romanesque churches in Austria.
