Gubin
Gubin is a town located in the Lubusz Voivodeship of western Poland. It lies on the Lusatian Neisse river, which forms part of the border with Germany. Historically, Gubin was part of the Prussian province of Brandenburg and was a significant industrial center. Following World War II and the redrawing of borders, the town was divided. The eastern part, predominantly Polish, became Gubin, while the western part remained German and is now known as Guben.
