Gesamtwärmewiderstand

Gesamtwärmewiderstand, often abbreviated as R_total or U-value, is a crucial concept in thermal insulation and building physics. It quantifies the resistance of a composite structure, such as a wall or window, to heat flow. Essentially, it represents how effectively a material or assembly prevents heat from passing through it.
