Gaditana
Gaditana is a term used to refer to the ancient southwestern Iberian region around Cádiz, and to people and things associated with the city. In classical and medieval sources the name denotes the coastal territory near the Phoenician port of Gadir, now Cádiz, roughly corresponding to the western part of present-day Andalusia. In modern Spanish, gaditana or gaditano are the feminine and masculine demonyms for a person from Cádiz, while the broader term Gaditania is used in scholarship to designate the ancient region.
