GOT7s

GOT7 is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment and activated in 2014. The group originally consisted of seven members: Bang Yuna, Jay B, JB, Mark, Bam, Yugyeom, and Jackson. Each member brings a distinct talent, ranging from vocal and rap to dance. The band debuted with the single “Girls Girls” and quickly established a strong presence in both the Korean and Japanese markets. Their music blends contemporary pop with hip‑hop and EDM elements, and they gained popularity with hits such as “Just Right,” “If You Do,” “Lullaby,” and “Guardian.”

The group has released several studio albums, including “Got It?,” “Around the World,” and the popular Korean‑Japanese hybrid album “We Are.” GOT7 also achieved considerable commercial success in Japan where they released multiple Japanese albums and won awards such as the Japan Record Award for Best Japanese Limited Distribution Category. Their international fanbase, known as WUG (World of Universal Generation), grew rapidly during the group’s active years, resulting in sold‑out tours across Asia, Europe, and North America.

In late 2020, members pursued various solo activities, but the group announced a reunion concept in 2021 and has since participated in select group projects. Their influence is noted in modern K‑pop, particularly for blending musical styles and engaging with fans through social media platforms. The group remains active, with ongoing releases and concert appearances, maintaining their reputation as a dynamic and versatile act within the global K‑pop industry.
