Fénykvantum
Fénykvantum is the Hungarian term for a photon, the fundamental particle of light and electromagnetic radiation. In quantum mechanics, a photon is considered a discrete packet of energy. This concept was first introduced by Max Planck in 1900 to explain the spectrum of black-body radiation and later refined by Albert Einstein in 1905 to explain the photoelectric effect.
